Voice Description

I have a deep, resonating, but personal voice. I minored in Theatere in college and have nominal acting experience, I know how to annunciate, fluctuate my vocal patterns, etc... I have experience with narrations and voice over work, but can alter my voice to a personable level for your more "everyday" kind of sound. I have a distinct voice and can master a more nasal quality for characterization.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I am currently working on a British dialect, as I am recording the Harry Potter series for a group of local children. I have a midwestern American natural accent, but grew up in the south and understand and replicate the American Southern dialect.
I have performed using British and New York American dialects in theatere productions on a local level.

My Voice Experience

I gained my experience from Sports Broadcasting... primarily basketball and football, starting with radio play by play and color for ICN 6, and Northern Kentucky University. I have been doing televised high school and college sports for 12 years for ICN 6, NKU, and the Kentucky High School Athletic Association. I have also done PA work for various sports events including my most recent venture into the world of MMA as a Ring Announcer for Prime Time Fighting in Cincinnati.

My Training

Minor from Northern Kentucky University in Radio/TV/Video and Theatere Arts. Trained primarily on the job beyond college.

My Studio Equipment

I am currently working on my own setup including a large USB Deaphrame microphone (w/Pop filter), with multiple polar patterns. My access includes a studio which uses Apple based software (Apple Logic and Garage Band) and a television studio for pre and post production work. I attempt to use mic's with mutiple polar patterns or at the least Cardiod.

Additional Skills

I have worked as a field rep. in IT for an insurance company for the last five years. I have developed excellent people skills in that time. I have impeccable grammar and diction. I also worked as a minister, and will speak at area church pulpits at least once a month. I have class experience in debate, logic and argument, and giving speeches. I maintain a professional approach, am very easy to work with, and time considerate.
