My voice is extremely fluid, I am often compared with classic Disney Characters to professional news anchors, so it varies. I can do East African accents and the clarity in voice really attracts attention. It is somewhat lyrical, but not soft.

My Voice Experience

I have done commercials and promo's for 100.3 The Beat, Los Angeles where LACC was my college of choice, at least everyday when the commercial was aired, I also did promo's, and introductions for A1 and Spinderella in the afternoons. I have done health commercials for Kern County Health in Bakersfield, CA and also commercials for Drug Prevention services in Bakersfield, the little big city that is more than just a pit stop to the north. I have done VO's for news packages, documentaries, and college radio at the Annenberg School for Communications and Journalism at University of Southern California.

My Training

B.A Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California 2008
Improv and acting classes where we specifically worked on voice, Voice workshops at USC and in Bakersfield, and participated in oral language competitions for four years in a row.

I was in theatre for 7 years, an anchor for Annenberg TV News, our award-winning college news station, a radio host for KSCR AM radio on campus, an anchor for a debate show on Trojan Vision entitles Platforum.

I was also Miss Kern County 2006, where I did public appearances and spoke. For my talent at several competitions, I sang and had to perfect my communication skills. I also spoke at my high school graduation and am Communications Director for People to People Organization.

Additional Skills

I didn't realize it at first, but after much recognition for my voicing skills, I have come to find that I can use my voice for many positive things. Communication is everything, and I truly believe that every aspect of my life has lead me to communicate information through voice.

Whether is was journalism, a competition, TV, or radio show, or even a conversation with a complete stranger, my voicing skills haven't gone unnoticed. I have a lot of experience in this field, but I also want to grow more so that one day I can use my voice to move a vast amount of people.

I have dreams of motivational speaking and anchoring, and I believe that any opportunity that allows me to practice necessary skills is something I must take advantage of. I have big dreams, but first I want to grow within my big voice.
