Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
Originally from Kent, southern England (Kentish maid!), Taunton, Somerset! variety of County English accents (particularly after several glasses) can even manage a Glasgwegian tone! After 18years in Australia, can muster up basic required Aussie narrative (can order beer and wine in either dialect!). Hard to describe - but versatile with ability to mimic. Having spent 3 years in the States (DC)- can rustle up a fairly muddled variety of East coast accents (excrutiatingly embarrasing to the natives I'm sure!).
My Voice Experience
Worked for the BBC (Shepherds Bush) London in the mid 80's (Press & PR office) assisting in Press Releases and Press liaison. Onto Cunard (Assistant Purser on the QE2) for 3 years (making public announcements for crew and pax. (from Daily Programme updates to Dining announcemnts) in English and passable Spanish. Secured a position with British Airways on arrival in Melbourne, Australia in Sales and Marketing in the early 90's (in house promos for public consumption)whilst working for the Company in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane (where I am now based). Worked in DC for a few years for the Aussie Embassy (no voiceover connection, just thought I'd throw that one into the mix).
Yep, I think that's about it - a somewhat chequered career, with, I have to admit, little prior experience, but what I lack in professional work - I compensate in my enthusiasm, dedication and 'chameleon-like' voiceover abilities (oh, and modesty too!).
My Training
sorry - will have to come back to this one.

None I'm afraid. (travel light)
