My Voice Experience

I have spent the last number of years providing voice overs for Australian television and radio commercials, narration for national corporate videos, and narration for the Adelaide produced but internationally viewed television series 'Out of the Blue'. I have also been providing voice overs for telephone on hold messages for Australian businesses.

My Training

My professional voice training was a year of personal coaching with long renowned Australian radio disc jockey Vaughn Harvey, who has over 40 years experience and runs his own radio voice over training school in Adelaide.
The last seven years I have also been a broadcast designer and editor (and a key voice over person) for a television production company based at Channel 9, a local television station in Adelaide, South Australia. As my work has involved many television commercials, programs and videos over the years, in relation to voiceovers I consider myself to be very experienced in understanding a client's brief and adapting to their needs!

My Studio Equipment

I have personal access to a top of the range broadcast digital audio suite, which is based around a MOTU Digital Performer system running on Apple Mac; extra hardware and software processing includes - SSL Duende Channel strips and compression, Avalon 737 Channel Strip, Dynaudio BM15 Monitoring, Universal Audio UAD Processing.... the list goes on! And of course various microphone options such as Blue Microphones, Rode Microphones, and Shure Microphones.

Additional Skills

As a broadcast designer, editor and voice over artist, I have had many years experience which has included working on a number of significant projects, including as editor of the short drama "Dodger's Heart", commissioned by the SA Film Corporation. I have a very creative approach to projects, and enjoying liaising with clients to give them optimal results.
