My Training

I have been in performing arts since the age of 8 years old, performing in musical theatre. There I was voice coached by Gioletti Music School of Carlsbad CA, learning to use my voice as an instrument for song and speach. I went on to perform on stage in musicals, comedies, drama and improv, joining the improv team on my highschool, and because of this, graduating with a letter in comedy sports.I am excellent at ad libbing if needed, and don't rely on dirty words or shock scenarios to get a laugh. I do also have the self control and respect for the writers to stick to the script when required.
My first solid gig in voice over was in college, working with the campus radio station, KCR. I did this for several years, running a 2 hour show on saturdays from 8-10 called Svetlana Monsoon's Calypso Storm. In 2007 I did several voices for The Juicehead Galaxy Lounge, a student animation by J.T Bruce. I graduated with a degree in psychology, which helps me to really get inside a character's head and deliver a performance that is multidimensional and true to life.

I studied at Platt college of San Diego, and attained a degree in Multimedia. There I learned a great deal about the technical processes behind voiceover and audio, which has helped immensely when doing voice work of my own.

Upon Graduation, I worked in media production, with TV Show Productions Inc. of Oceanside, CA I produced and directed several short segments for air on television, which I also provided voice over for. I know the business inside and out.

In 2009 I began working for JM Digital Works of Carlsbad CA, and did voiceover work in a professional studio setting. I am currently directing "A Day Without The Classifieds" For MiraCosta Junior College, and have enjoyed opportunity to direct several narrative scenes using MiraCosta's sound studio.

My Studio Equipment

I have a Blue snowball mic that connects via usb to my imac on which I run final cut pro, which I use to produce voice over samples. I do not have professional level equipment of my own.

Additional Skills

I'm a singer, spokesperson and character actor. I am also a skilled video editor using the Final Cut Pro Suite. I have produced and directed several TV segments that aired nation wide in the U.S. In addition, I am an artist and have done several storyboards for different productions. You can see examples of my artwork and some of the video segments I have edited, produced and directed.
