Voice Description

Depending on the type of interpretation, i can use my voice almost like a "machine". My native languages would be both English and French because I grew up in a very bilingual home, my father being from BC and my mother from Quebec, Canada. Our French here in Quebec is different in many respects from that of the one from France. So I can evidently speaks French but also can imitate the accent from France. I used to love to mimic other female singers' voices. I sometimes like to whip out a British accent or Australian, and my recent "favorite", russian. I really like to use my voice and discover new ways of using it.

My Voice Experience

As a performer, the stage is no stranger to me. I started as a ballet dancer at the age of 2 and continued on until I turned 15 years. At the age of 5, I started taking piano lessons (classical) and have received my grade 9 diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Toronto, Canada, when I was 19. As of the age of 13, I was writing my own songs. I have participated in many projects, such as movies soundtracks. I have recorded a greeting message for a corporate firm. I used to be part of an accapela choir (4 other girls and myself). I have participated in a benefit concert for Sun Youth in a highschool in my area.

I'm a singer, therefore I have technical knowledge on how to project and have taken professional singing lessons.

Additional Skills

Singer/Songwriter, I also enjoy composing music that would eventually be for movies and/or television. I have strong writing skills when it comes to lyrics or poems or even simple monolog.
Having recorded an acoustic album in a professional home studio, I know the work that goes along with it (preparation, recording, mixing and a bit of mastering). I know the feeling of standing in a booth and hearing my voice through a mic.
