Voice Description

Strong, clear, stable, authoritative, mature voice - female. Can be naughty, sing-song and witty for lighter pieces. I speak English and Hindi very well. I'm reasonably good at French. And have a working knowledge of Tamil and Malayalam.
In India, we don't learn to so so many accents. But depending on the assignment, I guess I can modulate my voice. I do a bit of singing as well, in English, Hindi and in French.

My Voice Experience

I used to do voice-overs for radio in college and university. Then, I did some programmes for television. The radio jobs were for FM channels in Delhi and for the All India Radio, Jaipur.

My Training

I am a former journalist, with 8+ years in the national Indian media. For most part, I was with India's largest media house, The Times of India. So, communication has been an integral part of my life.
I also did interviews for television. And I regularly sing. So, the voice is well-trained, as it is.

I am basically a writer, translator and communications person. I started off after college as a pilot; and then moved to journalism. In the last 4 years, I acquired an advanced diploma in French. I am regularly commissioned by clients to conduct interviews, write scripts and translate texts. I've also had the opportunity to be an interpreter for the Embassy.
