My Voice Experience

I have been a performer since 6th grade, doing theatre, musicals (only when they were comedies...not a singer!!) and reading school texts to tape for students who were poor readers, so they could follow along in class.

I've been in radio since 1977 and have not only been on-air but also a writer, voice and producer of radio commercials for much of that time. I've worked at WRKO, Boston, WRQX, WAVA and WMZQ in Washington DC and WPCH/WLTM and WYAY in Atlanta.

My favorite clients are those with self-help books and articles, so I can not only provide a voice service while turning the books into audio books and the articles into audio e-courses, but also get satisfaction knowing that those audio products help others improve their lives.

OJT is my background. With all but the first two years of my radio career being in major markets, I have learned from the best.

Dedicated computer/edit with Cool Edit Pro/several music and sfx libraries/a variety of good mics for different sounds.

Additional Skills

As the daughter of a career military man, I understand the concept of "squared away" and your job will be squared away by me. A job is only done if it's done right, which means completion before deadline with excellence of product. My experience is not just with the creative side of radio, but in management as well, which has given me problem-solving skills and dispute-resolving skills not often seen in a creative business.
