My Voice Experience

I have been a production director of two large radio groups for the past 13 years; for 17 years before that, I was a jingle writer/producer and singer, copywriter, and voice over talent. I've done literally hundreds of radio commercials, of virtually every genre, I also do quite a bit of phone answering machine messages for national clients, and do recorded voice call-outs for car dealersships all over the country.

My Training

Mostly experience--I've been in the production, then radio business, since 1979, so I've picked up a few things here and there...:-)

My Studio Equipment

As a Production Director, I am a sound editor; I have a studio in my position, what I usually do is record any voice work at the studio here (where I do have a phone patch), then if editing is necessary, I take the wav files to my home, and edit them on my home computer. I'm fluent in Adobe Audition, wav files, mp3's, can add music, if necessary, and also sound effects.

Additional Skills

I am a VERY fast editor, expert in Adobe Audition, and I have an extensive knowledge of the English language (being a copy writer for so many years), plus I take a certain amount of pride in the fact that I try to vary my tones, and I seem to have a knack of knowing how a piece of copy should be enunciated.
