Voice Description

Taking a script and interpreting it has always been thrilling to me. I have a very pleasant, inviting and warm voice. Perfect for narration and voice mails. Radio and Television spots are always fun and with my 18 years in radio, voicing and producing radio commercials, I've gotten pretty good at those too! :) I can be your sexy, smooth and sultry voice for that Lexus commercial or upbeat and excited for the big sales event weekend. If you want a character voice, I can play the sweet, innocent young girl or a crazy, off the wall creature. I offer a perfect child's voice with help form my 6 year old daughter.

My Voice Experience

I have had over 20 years of voice over experience.
I've worked at several radio stations over the years. WTRG in Raleigh, NC. WZZU in Raleigh, NC and 103.9 The Fish in Sacramento, CA. I have literally done 1000's of spots for these stations since that was my job as either creative services or production director/manager. In addition to my radio career, I've always supplimented my income with freelance voice work. I've recorded 100's of voice mail/IVR's and dozens industrial videos and eLearning.

My Training

I have a BA in Radio/TV Broadcasting and have taken numerous voice acting classes and seminars over the years. Dan O'Day is my hero! Most of my experience comes from the 20+ years working in radio as a Program Director/Manager. My job was to voice and produce dozens of commericals everyday.

My Studio Equipment

I have a full blown production studio with Shure Mic, Mackie Mixing board. I use Adobe Audition and SoundForge
for my editing and mixing programs. Full license free music and SFX library.

Additional Skills

My main skill is voice overs. I've done it for so long and always love the thrill of it. I also have spent a lot of time training and coaching people to read radio/TV spots. In addition to voicing, training and coaching I can produce as well. Making a straight voice over come alive with music and SFX is always exciting to me. Sound is a wonderful thing!
