Voice Description
At 26 years old, my voice is youthful enough to be excitable and smiley for upbeat advertising and work aimed at children; but also carry a more professional tone for narration and corporate work. I am very comfortable addressing the listener directly and working for communication first in areas like announcing, walkthroughs, audio tours and commercial presentations.
Especially strong sight-reading and language skills give me the ability to cope with complex passages of technical information in a tone which is convivial but also precise and informative.
In harder selling commercial style, I can offer a contemporary sound which captures the spontaneous excitement of a night out in town or an impulsive bargain purchase. In softer advertising work I can create an urgent but gentle connection with the listener, to cajole rather than instruct.
I take greatest pleasure from audio book narration, alternating quick and easy characterisations in a range of registers, paces and accents with direct address as if from the author.

My Voice Experience
My voice-performance career, like a scandalous rumour, is dramatic, unexpected and arresting - but frustratingly off the record.
I've read poetry in clubs, told stories in pubs, been used as a kind of dialect jukebox by my friends and acted on stages, yet had little opportunity to capture these in a studio. I trained as an actor and have worked as a director and teacher, but find myself returning overwhelmingly to language and the voice in all three disciplines.
I have been into the studio to record a voice-over for a natural history documentary and a character-driven advertisment for a training course, but really my career is just getting started... What does that mean?
Well, that means no old patterns to fall into, no comfort zone. That means any work I create for you is going to be completely fresh, completely new. Have a listen to my reel and decide which facet of my voice can help you, and hear me develop it right there and then.
