My Voice Experience

I have been told since I was a little girl that I have a beautiful speaking voice. As a result, I was often called on in church to do narrations, to read scriptures, to introduce speakers.

I was able to fulfill a lifelong dream of working at a radio station. I was an administrative assistant and membership coordinator for an NPR Radio Station. I was asked to do two narrations for the radio station.

I also received a wonderful opportunity to do a narration for a politician who was running for office. As an educator, I have often been asked to do readings, make presentations and to teach Public Speaking to high school students. I was also asked to be the voice on the phone for my former school. However, I resigned from that school and was not able to complete that task.

My Training

I answered an ad in the local newspaper "So you want to be a Voice-Over Artist" and went to the 4-hour workshop. From that workshop I was told that I have the potential to make money in the voice over business.

From there I studied for 6 weeks with a producer and make a demo.

I have also taken two workshops on Voice-Over work.
