Voice Description

For business presentations I have a professional, warm and appealing sound, I find these reads to be a little stuffy sometimes so it's important that the voice catches the listeners attention. Narrations could use the deep sexy part of my voice (check out my Lancome demo) I also have a great girl next door/ best friend quality perfect for commercials. My voice is sincere and interesting and I am always willing to take direction and try new voices or approaches with copy.

My Voice Experience

I have had four years of experience in the voice industry. My first job was as VOG for the 15th Annual North American Hair Awards which was hosted by Carson Cresley here in Las Vegas. Since then I have worked with a variety of copy and clients from straight business presentations to fun video game voices. Recent clients include Garnier (web), Mannatech (infomercial) and Febreeze (radio commercial)

My Training

I am a trained actor with a Diploma in Acting and Musical Theater from my three years at Mountview Theater School in London. I have worked continuously for the past twenty years as a professional actor and singer. As a voice over artist I trained with the wonderful Alice Whitfield (Take it from the Top)taking private classes and attending her masterclass. She is a wonderful teacher and continues to be my mentor.

My Studio Equipment

I use Protools 7.3 in my home studio connected to top-of-the-line Audio-Technica and Sennheiser condensor microphones. I also have access to local professional studios with ISDN capability, the cost of renting the studio would of course be reflected in my quote. Recordings can be delivered in almost any format.

Additional Skills

I am a professional singer with a very versatile voice. I started out as a classical singer and then studied musical theater. During my four year on cruise ships I got to perform in a variety of genres from pop through to opera and I loved the great jazz standards in my cabaret show.

I speak pretty fluent Spanish after living in the Canary Islands and find that to be very useful (especially as I am now married to a Spaniard). I have a lot of experience working with children after running music workshops for several years so I truly know the angle with any copy written for children.
