My Voice Experience

I wouldn't call anything I've done real experience, per se. I've been in the recording industry in one form or another since 2001. Initially it was broadcasting school in the dire and unlikely hopes of becoming and on air guy on the type of radio station that doesn't even exist anymore. Shame, really. Following that, I did a stint at a major recording studio here in Chicago for engineering, but I got behind the mic as often as I could. Unfortunately nothing ever came of several in-progress recordings (speaking and playing drums). When I was younger, however, much of my time was spent putting together radio-style mix tapes. I'm just that sort of guy, I guess.

My Training

I'm (at least partially) trained in audio recording from both a radio and making records perspective. I'm told I talk too much sometimes, but that's allowed me many years of using weird voices and the like. Usually for no appearent reason. I'm also a musician (drums, mostly), a skill I put to use a number of times while working at Hinge Studios in Chicago.

Additional Skills

I'm good with computers and I can do some stuff, mostly editing and the like, with programs like Pro Tools. While I don't have much of a camera friendly image, I can look like I'm doing this stuff pretty much anywhere. In fact, I'm using a computer right now. Pretty good, huh?
