My Voice Experience
Beginning in 1995, I've been a member of my family's gospel band The Pickett Family. Since then we've done countless recordings and I've even done a few on my own. In early 2007 I did a music video for etymology class, recording the guitar and the lead and backup vocals.
Also in early 2007, I did a video for Spanish class where I had a character named Gatolina played by my cat. She talked, therefore I had to loan her my voice. In addition, all my life I've done different voices, like mimicking Eartha Kitt and telling stories for instance, but I haven't had any "professional" experience yet.
My Training
I've been singing since I was 4 or 5 years old and I've been in every school choir up until I was 14. I've learned about voice overs from watching interviews with voice talents, tutorials, and doing my own videos. My acting training is limited, but my brother attended acting classes and taught me what he learned.
