I love doing character voices for animation, and am a trained singer. I can sing in all styles ranging from classical, to jazz, to Broadway. I do a perfect French, as I speak French. British (high and cockney,) Southern, New York (various boroughs,) Swedish, Irish, Spanish, Russian and German. I do a range of ages, a sexy vixen, aliens and specialize in all genres of singing.

My Voice Experience

Classically trained at Boston University’s School for the Arts, I plunged into a professional singing career straight out of college,when I was spotted by Isaac Hayes, auditioned, and hired on the spot as a key-backing vocalist. While I continued to fulfill this function up to Isaac’s recent passing, I expanded my career in many directions. As a now respected vocalist, I shared the stage with artists as diversified as Leonard Cohen, Herbie Hancock, Dionne Warwick, Sam Moore, Jimmy Webb, Art Garfunkle, Gordon Parks, and many others, and appeared at such venues as the Playboy Jazz Festival, the Montreaux Jazz Festival, the Hollywood Bowl, The New Orleans Jazz Festival, Womad, the Glastonbery Fayre, and the Staples Center. I have done a great deal of studio singing and session work for records, and jingles. Having studied voice over technique with Susan Blu and Cynthea Songe at, Kooka Inc. and Huck Liggett and Kat Cressida at, The Voice Caster, I plunged into the wonderful world of voice over, doing local small character jobs, animated and commercial. I have enjoyed the voice over world as much as music and am excited to make that and studio singing, my main careers!

My Training

I received my Bachelor of Music Arts in Vocal Performance, from Boston University, and specialize in all genres of singing, ranging from Opera, to Pop, to Jazz and Broadway. I have studied Voice Over with Cynthea Songe and Susan Blu, at Kooka Inc. and Blupka Productions, and also at the Voice Caster, with Huck Liggitt and Katt Credida. I have also studied acting with Bobbie Chance, Michael Howard Studio's Gloria Maddox, Penelope Reed, and Karen West.

I have easy access to a professional home studio, but do not my own equipment.

Additional Skills

Other than voice over work, I have a great amount of experience of singing recording. I have recorded many different styles ranging from Broadway, to Jazz, to Techno, and everything in between! I have done many jingles including commercials for childrens' toys, such as Polly Pockets, and phone Pacific Bell commercials. My vocal range is extremely diverse!
