Voice Description

My neutral voice is low and warm with a hint of a standard London/English accent; which is inevitably deemed as cockney but is an educated one. However I've been able to melt a ladies heart over the phone so I can come across in a sensual seductive manner.
If I change the pitch to a higher one than it can become quiet frantic and squeaky; which suits the animated sector. I am naturally a storyteller so I have strong expression and narrative. However i change the tone and sound according the characters I play.

In Europe I do all English accents of french, dutch, German, Italian, Turkish, Greek, Chinese Cantonese, West Indian, and Indian.

My Voice Experience

When it was time to retire to bed, my foot would slip out and begin a conversation with my hand to the amusement of my then little brother (who has recently become the proud father of a baby boy) Strange how things have a part in shaping your future. These events would lead me into the career of puppeteer, whereby I would create voices to match the character. With the industry being as it was I thought it would be a good idea if I qualified as a teacher....mmmm...couldn't hold down a long term position because I fell into the habit of entertaining as much as i was educating. Mime, impersonations, sound Impressions, stand up..sit down, clown around. I was every pupils favorite substitute teacher...I was loathed and loved by other teachers for keeping the school happy."You should be on TV" cried the kids, "I will" i cried...wept. Then I got married. She was Indian and her best advise was to leave England and find your fortune in India, my brother's in Advertising. So one thing led to another, I did some Radio spots...met a great animator..wrote some content and scripts and featured as a voice artist on an animation. The rest well...me thinks work in this industry will grow...I'll finish my pilot and yes, I'll be on TV. Thanks KIDS
