My Voice Experience

First working in the corporate world and then in the education field, I learned how to adapt my voice to "attract" my audience's attention. To teach someone means learning to deal with that person's frustration on the path to learning. A teacher's voice has a heavy impact on calming that frustration.

My Training

I have two degrees. A BA in Speech Communications and a BA in Secondary Education--Communications. I am currently enrolled in a Master's program.
During my education, I was a disc jockey and held an internship at a local television station.
I have an attractive singing voice.
I taught drama classes for a year before taking an 8th grade English teaching position. Teaching drama was so much more fun, and I'd like to do it again some day.
