The proper voice can do much for the soul. The right voice can keep you from feeling lonely, can make you feel almost any emotion, but my favorite is to help people to laugh, and feel better about life in general. I would like to make the world a happier place, and if I can do this with my voice...then as the butcher, the baker, and the candlestick maker said as they got ready to set sail in their tub..."I'm in!"
I have a degree in digital analog recording arts courtesy of Columbia Academy in Vancouver, BC. I have been in the radio industry for 13 years now, with a teeny bit of dabbling in the television industry. I write and teach music...guitar and piano, but that is just for the sake of spreading music to as many people as I can.
I have easy access to a studio with EV mics...however, I have a shure sm57 at my home studio, with cool edit pro to make the read what you want it to be.
I am big on community, family, and helping in general. I like to make a habit out of volunteering for charity events, whether I am the emcee, painting faces at festivals, leading a brownie or sparks troop, coaching soccer, or disc jockeying teen dances. If my services help those who need it, I try to find a way to make a difference.
