My Voice Experience
Let's just say i got into radio cos i was bored with school and only interested in talking! Well, to be honest, i was in Communication studies, stumbled upon a job in Year 2 and spent the next 7 years chasing my dreams of being on the airwaves.
Aged 17 - HMV Singapore, Radio Presenter, Live shows at the Heeren SIngapore, co-hosted autograph signing sessions and winked at all the cute boys.
Aged 20 - Joined the Mediacorp 987 DJ Hunt. Shortlisted to be in the top 10 from 300 over talents, and managed to get into top 5. Was offered part time contract with the station.
Aged 22 - Joined Worldspace Network (Satellite Radio) as a part time radio presenter. Hosted the rock music channel. Had lots of fun headbanging within the soundproof walls. heh.
Aged 23 - Joined Radio 91.3 as a part time radio presenter. Hosted daily afternoon and evening shows (not at one go of course!)
