My Voice Experience

I came upon a voiceover course at NYU continuing education programs. I took the course with Alice Elliott as my teacher. She taught all the rules and guidelines in voiceover work and we recorded every week at Full House Production Studios in New York. After the semester was over, I booked an appoinment with Alice and Dave Weissman to make a professional voiceover demo. I recorded in February, and now I am looking for work!

My Training

I went to The American Musical and Dramatic Academy for two years and then studied at the Lee Strasberg Institute for Theatre and Film. I had one class on voiceovers at AMDA, and then I took the NYU course which I learned almost everything about the Industry.

My Studio Equipment

I live right near Full House Production Studios to record. I also own a MAC in which it allows me to record demos and such.

Additional Skills

Other than loving voiceover work, I am also an aspiring actress. I have been acting since I was 4 years old. I went to a conservatory in NYC for two years, and then studied more at Strasberg and NYU and New School University. I have done many student films and I am a big fan of Shakespeare. Before I moved to NYC, I was a receptionist for awhile in New Jersey, so I always answered the phone and made sure I was understandable to the clients. I love speaking and learning new things about the voiceover industry! : )
