My undergrad degree is not related to voice over work, but even early on people noticed my voice and asked me to complete radio voiceovers, voiceover work, phone greetings, etc. This was on an informal basis. I used to work part-time at a pizza restaurant, and I would be working at the bar. Patrons would deliberately ask to have the sound system at the bar deactivated so that I would need to call out their orders over the crowd.
