Voice Description
I have a mid-range voice, in terms of tone. Not too barotone, but not too high, either. I can hit high squeals, as well as go low, ie Barry White low. Since my fluent lanquage is English, I can emulate certain accents, from from deep southern drawl, to country twang, to California surfer. With further study, I'm sure I can portray different accents of the United Kingdom, from cockney, to proper dainty scholarly English.
If needed, I am able to do a quiet dialougue, though whispering for long periods of time may not sound as natural for me. I do have a nice radio voice, although it is more "public radio" rather than Top 40 or louder commercial radio.

My Voice Experience
As for experience, I have trained my voice through constant usage over the years, which includes everything from singing in a "punk" band, to dramatic monologues in early high school. I have sat in on various programs as "guest DJ" at the studios of KRCL in Salt Lake City, Utah, where articulation of speaking is more enjoyable than loud obnoxious banter, backed up with sound effects. Furthermore, as both owner and spokesperson for my home business (the indie record label Pseudo Recordings), I do a lot of speaking and presentations in front of small to medium sized groups of people. To have articulation and proper diction is important , not only so your audience understands what you speak of, but also to maintain their interest.
My Training
While I have no formal training in actual "voice over" technique, I have learned proper enunciation and breathing techniques from being a singer and actor from my younger years of being a high school and college student. Working with promotion of local bands has helped me to sit in on radio broadcasts and speak on-air, as well as converse as a substitute DJ thoughout stints of upwards of 2 hours of airtime.
I also attained a degree in English from the University of Utah, with a strong emphasis on creative writing. This would attest my knowlege and usage of proper speaking and diction, as well as composing it. During this time I also wrote for a small independent publication called Salt Lake Under Ground magazine (affectionatley known around here as SLUG), where I did some free lance journalism, which included interviews with artists and musicians of the region.
