My Voice Experience
I graduated in 2008 with a BS in Mass Communication from Illinois State University with a focus on radio production. I studied many different formats and two different athletic teams in three different NCAA Divisions.
I started in radio broadcasting my freshman year of college. I spent five years between two universities in Illinois. At Millikin University located in Decatur, Illinois I announced Div. III football and basketball including the D3 National Championship for Womens' College Basketball. I conducted interviews and created liners with artists such as Jason Mraz, Adam Pascal, Ace and Cyrus (Real World), etc. I also aided in production of commercials for upcoming events and underwriting for sponsorship.
At Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois I continued announcing football and basketball while adding newscasts and in-depth stories including a Governor debate as well as adding a dual-format radio station between Urban and Alternative Rock.
