My Voice Experience
I started performing voice over in college (2002-03) while studying recording arts. Voice overs were done for my own projects as well as for other students. We had a lot of fun with it and enjoyed doing it but at the time never took it seriously as a career option. I went to work at a local radio station (Wine Country Radio, Santa Rosa, CA- 2006) and had the opportunity to write and voice some of my own commercials: Real Results Fitness, Redwood Creek Apartments, Larkfield Pet Supply. As an operator of a small home studio, I did some commercial, promo and voicemail recordings for the following(2006-2008): Mass Music and Events Promotion; Beatty Investment Group; ERA Real Estate ; The Fathers House.
A few years later, at the urging of an actor friend, I looked into formal training for Voice-Over and enrolled at Voice One in San Francisco. After studying for the better part of 2 years I had my demo produced in 2009. Through Voice One I was cast for a toy recording; Doggee Dee (2008). I have also recorded voice mail greetings and web site content for Chateau Montelena Winery (2008-09).
