My Voice Experience

Ultimately, my experience is in making coworkers, family, friends, and random customer service representatives on the phone laugh. Astute readers will therefore surmise that I have no formal training or experience as such.

In truth, I volunteered at my university's NPR feed (WETS-FM) during the final semester in which I was obtaining my Bachelor's in computer science, but once I secured a job as a software engineer, I sort of fell out of the habit of any sort of voiceover work. Everyone I talk to says that I need to seriously pursue voiceover work, so I am registering on this site in order to see just how well I can do for myself, and if there's any truth to what people are telling me.

My Training

One semester of volunteer work at WETS-FM in Johnson City, TN, largely not pertinent to voiceover work itself.

My Studio Equipment

Nothing personally owned at the moment. However, I work at a video game development company with our own in-house recording studio, so I could probably bother one of our engineers to fire up Pro Tools after-hours.

Additional Skills

I enjoy singing along with music in my car, as well as karaoke.
