Voice Description
As a lifelong storyteller, I've played many parts; the strong, assured narrator, the growling, hissing, and/or arrogant villain, the wise grandfather, shrill sidekick, brave (or frightened) hero, pompous official, bellowing giant, and many other voices fit for cartoons, games, and audiobooks. On a more down-to-earth note, I've also played the charming spokesman and the welcoming showman. My voice is naturally deep, but with extensive range into higher octaves and a wide variety of textures.

My Voice Experience
Since my first hand-me-down tape recorder, I've always been a performer, improvising plays or reading aloud sometimes for friends or family, sometimes just to hear how it sounded. In my college years at UCSB, I played the part of a DJ for the short film "Returning Tommy Axle" (2000), then performed live onstage as a narrator for the silent film "Man Tips" (2002). More recently, I've found work in the game industry as a writer and editor.
My Training
My time at UCSB gave me ample experience and training, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in film studies. In addition to my voice work, I have six years' worth of post-college experience as a film editor, both in the fields of live action ("Love and Testosterone," 2003) and animation (the award-winning "Muppet Hunter D").

Additional Skills
In addition to my voice work and editing skills, I am also a skilled and accomplished writer, author of both the award-winning fantasy screenplay "Skyhammer" (UCSB Corwin Awards, 1999) and the award-winning short story "Hunter's Oath" (Eclipse Magazine, 1998). My hobbies include game design, music composition, and drawing.
