Voice Description
I have a warm, friendly, only slightly-deep voice which is naturally ideal for narrations, presentations and audiobooks; my commercial reads tend to fall into the "guy next door" category with a touch of wry humor and swagger, though I'm very good at doing more energetic, intense, or announcery (is that a word?) reads. I have a wide range which can fulfill any and all of your vocal needs.

My Voice Experience
For years, I was a documentary filmmaker for PBS and would narrate my own regional documentaries. I also have worked as a puppeteer on several short and feature-length films where I ended up voicing the character I was performing. Before moving to Los Angeles, I had booked dozens of regional commercial spots as well as everything from corporate narration to phone-on-hold to promo work.

Additional Skills
I'm a motion picture producer here in Los Angeles (currently doing a remake of SHORT CIRCUIT for Dimension Films) and have a myriad of skills which the art of producing features has taught me. Perhaps the one most worth mentioning is the ability to function as a screenplay editor, helping writers get the most out of their words on the page.
