My Voice Experience
I have worked as a voice actor sporadically since booking my first job in 1996, while also performing in video, film, and live theater.
I trained in acting at NYU, have produced critically acclaimed solo work, and was a founding member of the dodeska performance ensemble, which regularly created radio plays which I co-wrote and performed in.
I also spent two years as a member of 'Fade Out Theatre,' a live radio theatre program on San Francisco's Pirate Cat Radio, before returning to New York and training in voiceover with Ellie Devers of AP Voices.
My home studio is finally up and running, and I have recently booked VO work with Bud Light and the National Forest Service.
My Training
I studied acting with the Atlantic Theater Company at NYU for 2 years before completing my bachelor's degree in Writing and Literature from Naropa University (Boulder, CO), while performing in theater and film.
My senior thesis was a 12 character solo performance, "Completely Satisfied Men," which went on to tour the North American Fringe Festival circuit to critical acclaim.
After college, I co-founded the dodeska performance ensemble, an experimental performance troupe integrating live performance, technology, and sound design. I've also studied improv at the Peoples' Improv Theater, written and produced three full-length plays, and recorded dozens of songs, poems, and radio plays.
My Studio Equipment
My home studio is small, but powerful. I have experience as a sound engineer, and am currently producing professional sounding tracks from home.
Additional Skills
I am an improviser and a poet. I have a deep respect and passion for language, and love working with great text.
