My Voice Experience

A radio voice for over 18 years in Australian metro and provincial markets - I've played everything from a grandmother to a French crepe (yes, crepe - as in pancake, my fault I guess as I wrote the spot).
From station id's to calling desperate jocks on air as a "listener", my voice has been used (and abused) from one end of the station to another.
In my spare time, I'd voice television commercials, record on hold messages and dream of being a cartoon character.

My Training

As a writer for those same 18 years - I genuinely care about the clients and getting a result.

I have spent many hours directing talent to extract just the right feel.

I've also witnessed far too many great scripts crash and burn on air through poor voice performance.

When I voice anything, my goal is always to identify, interpret and convey the message in a convincing way.
