My Voice Experience

Maybe considered a little old school, but smooth and professional. I've been a radio station announcer, operations manager, sales manager and general manager, but I've always done radio commercials since I started in 1980. Mississippi Radio Station of the Year award in 1986 primarily due to winning top awards in commercial production over several years from State Broadcasters Association for both writing, producing or voiceover. I've done scattered local industrial narrations, documentaries, radio, broadcast and cable tv voiceovers for both local and regional entities. I've done IVR phone scripts also.

All training has been OJT, based on radio station operation and experience.

Additional Skills

Voiceovers are more than just spoken words. They need to tell a story, must sound believable and have a lot of marketing spun into every word.

I am also an actor in Community Theater, a certified United Methodist Church Lay Speaker. Painting pictures with words is a true art form.
