Voice Description

Being a radio Production Manager, Station Voice and Imaging Specialist has really helped stretch my range. I am equally at home with irreverant humor as with straight-ahead factual narrative.

My normal voice is intelligent, warm and articulate- not as boomy as a game-show host, but compassionate, insightful and pointed.

I have a knack for getting to the factual AND emotional core of a text. The message must come first! When people really NEED important information, I'm a voice they want to hear.

My Voice Experience

I have been Production Manager for Modern Rock and Classic Rock radio stations, a free-lance imaging specialist in several major markets, and have voiced hundreds of commercial spots over a 15-year career.

My Training

Trial by FIRE- I was DJ'ing at a modern rock radio station back in '93 when they hired me as prod director. No looking back from there- it was put up or shut up!!

I also have training as an audio engineer. I have worked in several major recording studios and I currently have a state-of-the-art project studio I work out of at home.
