Voice Description

Originally hailing from West Michigan, I have a voice free of accent. I have a warm, smiling, welcoming voice for narrations, exciting and winsome for commercials, precise and professional for presentations. I have a vocal range of three octaves, from F below C to F above high C. Classically-trained lyric tenor singing voice can cover opera, classical, blues, jazz, old standards, background vocals and jingles.

Began studying voiceover in 1995 here in the Atlanta area. Did imaging for local radio station 1995. Began voicing and producing on-hold message systems for businesses in 1995.

Studied with international VO talent and coach Deborah Richards.

Voiced a jingle 2008, Russian accent opera singer for Ben Franklin Plumbing.

Voiced audio book 2008 for Abigail Morgan Austin Publishing Company, 220 page book "Insurance Claim Secrets Revealed!"

Operatic vocal training with Dwight Coleman, Chair of Vocal Performance Department, Georgia State University, 1995-96.

Operatic vocal training with Dr. Jennifer Cable, Chair of Vocal Performance Department, University of Richmond, Richmond, VA, 1996-98.

1993-94. Two seasons as Tenor with Atlanta Opera Company, a regional professional opera company.

1992 - 2007 Lyric tenor, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus and ASO Chamber Chorus. Recorded 17 CDs. Five CDs have won Grammy Awards.

My Studio Equipment

Fully equipped studio with mixing board, Behringer mic, USB sound card, amplifier, computer, printer, scanner, fax, high speed Internet connection. Also able to record and produce video in the studio. Production software is CoolEditPro. Video software is Sony Vegas Studio. Upload to FTP sites regularly. In addition, my wife is an audio engineer, producer and VO talent.
