Described as the kind of voice that can be heard in another room I have a voice that projects and has proved useful in live performance without a microphone. For a radio play recently recorded I was a young Tom Brown type character, very posh and rather annoying(as required). My voice is actually rich and a good telephone voice that can be manipulated for the sake of sarcasm and comedy or heart felt plea and comforting reassurance. Intimate and friendly can switch to angry and menacing.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I have a west London Undefinable accent. People have asked me if its west country and I am seldom taken for a Londoner though Cockney and Posh are easy for me. Liverpudlian Beatles style can be achieved as reflected in my singing voice. I enjoy a challenge and if the timbre of my voice meets the requirement I believe I can achieve an accent.

My Voice Experience

For Newbias and MTV I did some voice over work as a Swiss scientist. I also wrote a theme tune and performed this. As a satirist I have provided the acting and voice of Angerman.

I am a singer/songwriter of novelty songs for fun. My experience in this field has provided me with understanding of the recording process with an imaginative and maverick approach.
Other clients include LOWE advertising in which I provided voice and writing skills.

My Training

I attended a Youth theater as a teenager and have worked in various jobs traveling. As a street entertainer and writer I have had the chance to observe and recreate voices. Working as a freelance writer as a satirist, travel writer and having performed live in a band since an early age all contribute to the richness of my work. I bring creativity and an individual approach but I work well to deadlines, under stress, under direction and to order. I once wrote and recorded a bespoke short script with music in two days. By the monday morning it was on the desk of the client.

My Studio Equipment

I have access to a industry standard microphone and recording desk. I also have a sound effects library and can provide original/bespoke music and a library of songs for any prospective clients to view.

Additional Skills

My songwriting and performing name is RW Hedges. I released "Almanac" to great reviews in January 2008.
the video for the single Abes dream was made by MTV's Jim Hickey.

I toured France live last year and I am working on my second album. It is rich in style and the songs have a great brevity like my voice. I guess the work on satire has proven to be successful and I currently write for a satirical website soon to be released to the media and I have been working as a freelance writer for LOWE advertising recently and in the past.
