Voice Description

I have such a diverse range, eclectic, unique, and fun voice and personality. I have done narrations, messages on hold, local and regional commercials and presentations. I even narrated a technical manual and managed to make it entertaining while following script. I perform with a classic rock cover band. I take direction well and am flexible, fun and easy to work with.

A little about me as a person:
I love my family, singing (jammin' with friends is the best!), music (all kinds), Disneyland (my favorite place in the world - thats where I'm going to live when I grow up), bubble baths, the beach (I'm still a California girl at heart), rollercoasters & adrenaline rushes, softball, rock climbing & hugs. I like to smile. Laughter is the best. I like fun words like rutabaga, flibbertigibbet, obstreperous & antidisestablishmentarianism. I like word games.
I like to read anything by Stephen King (yeah, I know he has a couple of duds out there, but I'm a huge fan; let's face it, reading the Green Mile in serial format was fantastic!)
I don't like mean people, ignorance, stupidity, complacency, crumbs in the butter, hairs in the soap & BLATANT MISUSE OF AN APOSTROPHE!

My Training

In junior college I first studied journalism and wrote for the college paper. I switched to Music Theory & Composition while attending the University of Arizona.
I have, over the past many years, performed as a vocalist for many different bands and many different genres, and did an Arizona to Alaska tour with the country band "Santa Fe". I am still singing and I currently fron a classic rock band.
I had been dabbling in VO work, but decided to take some training while my daughters were young when they were at modeling/acting pursuits.
