My Voice Experience
Over the last six years I've been working as a broadcast journalist for a major network in Canada. My voice is heard every night on the evening news by tens of thousands of people. I essentially do voice-over work every day on the job. Because of the wide variety of reports I work on, my voice has been trained to be crisp and clear while at the same time reflective of the tone being set in the story.
My Training
I have a diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary, Alberta, Canada for Broadcast Journalism.
Since graduating from the two year program, I've worked for the last six years in the industry, reporting stories daily.
Along with television reporting I've done extensive work on the radio reading newscasts on air.
Along with my professional training I've also had years of training in the performing arts. I performed in plays from the age of 8 until my early 20's.

Additional Skills
In broadcast journalism I'm a believer in the skill of storytelling. Since entering the world of television reporting I've trained my voice to accurately reflect the mood and tone of the stories I'm trying to tell. It's a skill I believe can translate into voice over work.
