I am completely bilingual with no accent in either Spanish or English. I am from Puerto Rico of Puerto Rican and Argentine descent, but my Spanish is neutral Latin American. I have extensive experience doing voice-overs in Spanish and English since 1994. I can add a "Hispanic" accent to my English when needed. My voice can sound warm and friendly; childlike and fun or professional; serious and formal, as needed. I have done voices for documentaries, medical/health institutions, telephony, children's books, eLearning, interactive websites, museums, commercials, and animated characters for children, adults and 70-year olds. Because I am a professional entertainer used to microphones and cameras, voice-over work comes quite naturally to me. I am efficient, professional and quite enthusiastic about this work because I truly enjoy it.

I can easily translate from English to Spanish for smaller jobs. For larger scripts I have a small stable of professionally certified translators who can turn jobs around in 48 hrs flawlessly. They are native speakers whose work is impeccable. This means your script will not be translated literally (a common mistake with less than professional translators) but correctly and as Spanish is correctly used around the world.

Over the years I have discovered I can speak very quickly without stumbling and get jobs done promptly, or I can slow down to accommodate the needs of young learners. I have often found that scripts in Spanish tend to take longer to read than those originally recorded in English; the need has often emerged for me to help the project manager reduce text so as to fit in the designated space of time. Because I am a native Spanish speaker I am able to do this easily. I also often catch errors in translations made by script translators and am happy to make corrections on the spot or make recommendations for corrections for the clients' consideration, as requested.

I have also had acting experience and am able to read dramatically quite comfortably. I'm also easy to direct and fun to work with, and find that a good sense of humor goes a long way towards making clients feel happy when project is challenging. I am a dedicated team player and a creative problem-solver.

Ever since my childhood my parents always encouraged me to be a good communicator in both Spanish and English. Little did I know just how much I would appreciate the love they passed on for both speaking and singing bilingually. My love for communication is at the heart of my work and I'm honored to be able to put my skills at the service of my voice-over clients.

My husband Brian Amador is also a voice-over actor as well as being a composer and guitarist. We have recorded albums in our private studio and can put our musical skills to work for your project.
