My first career was as professional musical theatre actress with classical acting and vocal training. About 15 years ago, I began my writing career, but you can never get completely out of acting, can you? I now direct children's theatre and have voiced presentations I have written and produced for clients. My future plans are to voice the audio copies of my novels.
I am a trained singer (soprano), trained actor (AADA in New York, among others), and take direction and constructive criticism very well. I am very open to character voices, and hope to find my way into a full-length animated feature one day.
10+ years of classical voice training

BA in English and Creative Writing (San Diego State U.).
Voiced Powerpoint for Floatstorage.com expo presentation.
Member of and cantor for a local church choir, writer for a local arts council, etc.
Currently attending Edge Studios' voiceover seminars and workshops.
I have access to a professional studio at a successful New York ad agency. This is where I produced the voiceover for the Powerpoint I created whose script I also wrote. Someone at the agency then edited it for me so I could attach it to the PPT. I ran the board as I recorded.
I run my own writing services business and would like to branch out (or should I say 'back into') the more creative field of voiceovers and recording.
