I am a mature woman, 50 yrs old, but my voice has always sounded young and has no racial tone to it.On the phone, one cannot tell what nationality I am, even what region I am from. I can do imitations pretty well. I have not worked in this industry, but so many people have suggested i do voice overs, I thought i would at least look into it. I am a professional woman, so I use good grammar naturally. I am not able to sound like an urban Black woman, using a hip-hop/ rap sound.

My Voice Experience

I worked ona local radio station for a short time when I was unemployed. It was a classical radio station and I introduced the music. I actually do have some classical music training, but I received calls stating how intelligent and knowledgeable I sounded.

My Training

I have a Masters degree in Social Work and work with the mentally ill. When I was in college, Writing was my second major.

Additional Skills

The radio stint, which lasted about 3 months, because it was without pay, is the only experience I have.
