Voice Description

I've been told most of my life "With that voice, you should be in radio." Well I ain't. But I can be. I can deliver anything from movie trailer voice over to radio commercial "puke." Nuerotic to confident to sexy to shy, Texan or Scot and most of what lies between. I am a native Texan, well read and reasonably well traveled, learned English dialects in England and Scotland. Experiance in military radio communication further developed my enunciation. Have experiance on stage as well as behind including announcer during award shows. I have a gift.

My Voice Experience

Born almost literally backstage in the community theatre scene in Houston, I was raised in and around the performing arts. I attended the Houston High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, majoring in Drama. In the U.S. Air Force my ability to speak effectively on-air landed me a staff position where radio communication was vital and clarity essential. Through the years I have performed on stage occasionally, tended bar frequently and often found myself with a mike in my hand. In short, I have no practicle experiance whatsoever, but I have a dream, a talent and I am willing to work cheaply for the experiance!

My Training

My father was well known in the theatre scene in Houston and always taught me to E-NUN-CI-ATE! My first drama coach insisted I PROJECT! Various subseqent wives and/or lovers told me to shut the hell up. Notwithstanding, I have decided I am due a change and in full confidence of my voice over ability I am seeking to convert my speaking ability to an earning.
