Voice Description

My natural voice is is a deep mature male. The tone easily conveys authority or comfort. Best results for my natural voice has been with calming or serious themed spots such as Funeral home, law firm, Medical, Banks and the like.

I can also provide a variety of characterizations. I can give you old men, lock-jawed rich guy, 49er, movie trailer guy, pirate, radio DJ, fake but believable Italian, French, British, Australian, Oriental, Russian, German and Mexican accents, southerner, redneck, very old Eglishman, a nerd and much more.

Additionaly, I can also give you a host of impersonations such as Maxwell Smart, Yogi Bear, Dudley Doorite, Ross Perot, Andy Rooney, Wolfman Jack, Richard Nixon and tons more.

I am available to do voice over for radio and TV spots, greetings voice mail, film narrations, message on hold, documentary narrations, voicemail messages, presentations, voice services, voice actor, radio services and other voiceover jobs.

My Voice Experience

I have been doing characters and impersonations since i was a kid. But my first paying gig was as a part time DJ for a little station, KBXM, in south Missiouri, just after I got out of the Navy.

Since that time I have had opportunity to use my voice talents for both pay and volunteered work.

In 1995, I debuted the Weird Ron Show on KBIM in Roswell New Mexico. A music comedy show reminicent of Dr. Dimento. Since then, I have continued to provide my voice talent for a variety of commercial spots and PSAs.

I realy don't have any formal trqaining. My talent is natural and my skills come from experience.
