My Studio Equipment
I have my own studio. I built it around a Focusrite Saffire PRO 40 and a custom built Windows 7 computer with 8gb of RAM. My preferred DAW is Adobe Audition. I installed additional outboard processing by dbx and Presonus. A pair of Alesis M1 active monitors lets me hear what I'm doing. My microphone selection is: Heil PR40, Shure KSM 27 and SM58, Sennheiser 421 and an AT 2035. A Mackie Control Universal lets me (among other things) mix with faders when a mouse just won't do.
I also record in other locations. For these projects, I use either a Marantz PMD 670 for mono or stereo; of for larger setups, I bring out a Korg D888.
Additional Skills
As stated above, I also go out to record at other locations. Depending on the client, I'll either turn over the raw audio directly upon payment, or take it back to the studio for post production.
