My Voice Experience

I've been a singer (rock and big band) for 40 years, I've got a smooth, refined, deep and attractive speaking voice and know how to use it with great effect. I've been a government official in Washington, D.C, and during those 16 years I traveled widely, developing a style of public speaking that is relaxed, honest and compelling. While living in that area, I also had a weekly radio show on WBRRS (Baltimore Radio Reading Service), on which I provided live readings (mostly short stories) to the visually impaired. Of late, I've been retained by a trade association to provide the narration for a series of safety training DVDs. I'm enjoying that work, and look forward to other voice assignments.

Bachelors in English; Juris Doctorate

Acted in various local theatre companies.

My Studio Equipment

I have two Apple computers, both loaded with the most up to date sound recording software. The system is completed with a precision Shure microphone and a Bose theatre system for playback. My studio is maintained in a cottage built in my backyard.
