My voice is warm and deep and very frequently referred to as sexy. It is similar to Barry White, the R&B singer. I am a public speaker and sing locally as well. Have been master of Ceremony in many community events, being fun and entertaining where appropariate.
Have written and recorded proessional commercials for local hospitals.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I can read and annunciate Spanish. I can also produce a French accent, country, middle age, elderly, promotional or disc jockey voice.

I try to immitate a Swedish accent, and do fairly well, as well as British.

My voice can best be characterized musically with a strong similarity to Brook Benton (Rainy Night in Georgia), Lou Rawls, or Conway Twitty.

My Voice Experience

By the time I was in my twenties, (now 57!) not many days would go by before someone would aske me, "Have you done radio?" "Have you ever done commercials?" I was often compared to Barry White, the deceased R&B singer.So, I would respond by saying, "Who loves you baby," in a deep rich voice, and it would always draw laughter.

So, several years ago, I was in a public speaking engagement promoting chemical dependency treatment services, and a guy at a Lion's Club breakfast walked up to me at the end of my speaking, and he says, "HI, I'm Brian and I'd like your voice." I said, yeah, and laughed slightly, not knowing his intention. he said,"No, I mean, I want your voice. I'm looking for a deep male voice for one of my clients." Within a week I was in his studio producing a commercial for Merced Community Medical Center. I was working for Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock CA at the time. A year or two later I was aksed to write and produce two radio commercial for Emanuel. At anyrate, I'm think, with a little luck and timing, perhaps my time has come. It's worth a shot.

My Training

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, with a master's degree in Counseling in Psychology. I am a tranor and presentor for our local mental health department. There are also local groups who have asked me to provide vocal back-up / harmony or bass to their muscial productions. i have also done some local theater, more of edu-tainment, with a local group known as The Wellness Warriors.
