Voice Description
I have an extremely wide range of timbre, pitch and expression. I have always been able to reproduce any accent except Oklahoma twang, and have actually performed in Spanish, French, German, Yiddish, Hebrew, Italian. My imitative abilities extend to song. I once mad a rehearsal tape for myself of all the characters in all the dialogues of the Mikado which fooled my friends into thinking I had hired a cast.

My Voice Experience
As a child i started imitating Sid Caesar and found I could do his foreign doubletalk. As I went along I Found I was always able to reproduce any voice I heard. I was classically trained as an opera singer, and have sung operatic roles as a bass, baritone and tenor. My recording "A Blitzstein Cabaret" includes songsin both operatic and Broadway styles, and in Irish, Yiddish and Italian accents. Other recordings were as a classical tenor, 1: for Anthony Davis's opera X: the Life and Times of Malcomb X and 2: again as a tenor in the William Cullen Bryant Centennial Concert. For two years in college I was music of the campus radio station, for which I recorded many promos. With apologies, It has been to long to remember specifics, except my daily sign-off for which I used a technique of partially bringing the "false vocal folds" together, which produces the sound of Mercedes Mackambridghes demon voice from "The Omen." My only professional voiceover credit since then has been as a bass chorus section (with multi-tracking)done for a film about the Washington Monuments. Please bear with me as I prepare the files to post here that will convince you that if you need it, ask Ron Edwards.
My Training
I studied Italian, French, and German in college, and have been coached as a professional singer since then in Hebrew and Yiddish. I was Music Director of KMUW-FM for two years, where I recorded many types of characters and voices. One of the Media Arts courses there at Wichita State University assigned me, myself an undergraduate, a student trainee.
My Studio Equipment
As mentioned before, I'm building a presentation here, so really don't know what my production abilities are yet, but it will be I who write the clips that I post, I hope some one will notice my writing, too.
