My Voice Experience

I have worked in radio for 10 1/2 years, and also in television. Both offered great experience as a voiceover artist. From 1989 to 1993, I was at WIAM in Williamston, NC. From 1993 to 1999, I was at WVOT in Wilson, NC. I was a DJ at both stations, and had to do plenty of commercial voiceovers. From 1999 to 2004, I worked at WNCT - TV 9 as an Operational Engineer. I didn't get to do as much voiceover work there, but I did some.

My Studio Equipment

I use a computer with a high-quality mic. Once the voice track is recorded, I can edit the audio using software that has 4 tracks and an equalizer built in to process the audio to sound professional, such as a studio sound, a telephone line sound, or several other variations.
