Voice Description
Soothing and warm, deep for movie trailers, commercials. Can be dramatic or obnoxious and strong. In a crowded bar, I am told, my voice towers over all others even when I try to talk low.
Best applications may be in movie trailers, beer commercials, rodeos, auctions, super sales, elevator announcements, hot rod promos, dirt bike competitions, demolition derbies, country fairs, cartoon characters or anything that has to do with heating and air industry. My expression tends to be rough, street wise. I can be a smooth talker but it does not come as easy as just being a rough guy.
I love animals and have a number of my own. My wife calls me a Beast Master since animals regard me as a pack leader. I am also an accomplished horseman.
I can speak with Australian accent.
My friends say that I have wonderful radio voice and that my voice talent should work well for message on hold, voice mail greeting, voice services, podcasting or commercials.

My Voice Experience
I memorized and recited a number of introductions into movies, some commercials, sportscast announcements and wisdom lines from my favorite movies.
This industry is new to me and I do not have any prior jobs.
I work as a HVAC service tech for a company in Solon, Iowa and have been there for a number of years. Doing commercials for an HVAC company like Carrier would be good also since I know so much about heating and air industry.
I have a degree in Industrial Engineering.
My wife has a flower shop so I am also a flower delivery person.
I am a commitment oriented person and am a natural speed reader.
My Training
My training is self taught. I always had an interest in voice overs, just had no idea that people actually do this for a living.
My favorite and memorized parts come from "The Twilight Zone", Star Trek", "Star Wars" "They call me Trinity", " Mad Max",
"South Park", "Andy Griffith Show" and "Little House on the Prairie".
I am a happy go lucky guy, and am "a life of the party" type personality. I really enjoy crowds of people and good times. I am also an unparalleled prankster and love all the funny commercials. Carhartt clothes are made for people like me as are Fruit of the Loom.

Additional Skills
Often times I coach people over the phone how to fix their own furnaces. ( the type of simple stuff that I would ordinarily check first). I never charge them for that even if it takes an hour to do. It seems that people appreciate being able to be a part of the solution.
I like to educate my customers about the problems their furnaces and air conditioners have. That way the customer feels comfortable making a decision to purchase a new furnace if that is what needs to happen.
Many times customers ask for me by name when they call the company I work for because they trust my work.
I spent all of my working years in a blue color world and connect with it very well. Sometimes I go and play Golden T with my buddies at a local bar and have won money several times.
I am also an avid music lover and am very familiar with rock and some country.
I love KISS, Elton John, Johny Cash, Bee Gees, Journey, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Willy Nelson, The Stones, Ted Nugent and many others and can see myself promoting any of their collections.
Horror and sci-fi movies are my favorites. I do not like girl y, mushy stuff.
Anything that has to do with tough wear-and-tear is more my style. I have yet to find a shoe that will stand to my abuse.
We live on an acreage in Iowa and all outdoor tasks from mowing to barn repairs and wood splitting are within my skill level. I operate a full size tractor, a pantoon boat, a small fishing boat, a chain saw, large delivery van, tall ladders, programmable thermostats...
My favorite reading is in the field of history and astronomy and narrating events or commercials in those areas would really be great.
