My Voice Experience
My experience started in broadcast and commercial voice overs about 35 years ago. I have done various types of voices from the screaming "rock jock" to the mellow, late night easy sounds of radio. I have done the shouting, crazy car salesman to mellow sounding jewelry promoter. I do a Southern Gentleman voice and for those that remember, the old prospector(or sidekick). There are other characters and voice type that I have not worked on lately. The last large project I did was as an instructor for the Army. I have also done voicemail greetings. I have been out of the business for a while and would like to pick it back up.
My Training
My training came mostly from doing. On the Job in radio. I also took drama and public speaking in college. While in the military as a Broadcast Journalist, I was trained by personnel from the American Forces Radio and Television Service.
