My Voice Experience

When my kids were young I spent many hours reading to them. From Dr. Zeuss to the entire Chronicles of Narnia series, the kids loved the way I could bring the pages to life with my expression and characterizations. My friends and colleagues have often complimented me on my speaking and singing voice. Life is busy, though, and until now I haven't found the time to make use of my vocal talents. At this point in my life, I am able to wind down my responsibilities in my hand crafted log home business and spend more time pursuing my love of voice acting. My business experience has taught me the importance of completing high quality work on time and on budget, and I am committed to those goals in my voice acting business as well.

My Training

I am a musician (guitar) and a singer/songwriter. I have performed at many venues in my local area, and have acted as M.C. at many shows as well. I have a long-standing interest in reading aloud, and I have taken several workshops in Auditioning for Commercials (Neptune Theatre School) and Voice Acting (Joshua Young myactingcoach.com)

MXL 990 Condensor microphone, Sound Forge and Audacity software, plus easy access to fully equipped sound studio for full production if required.
