Voice Description

Melodious high-baritone male ready to bring my stable of mid-30's to mid-40's characters to life in your commercials and add color and confidence to your narrations and audiobooks. From a Ward Cleaver-dad character to a quirky Nicholson-esque neighbor who drives you nuts, my range of "real-guy" characters is wide and interesting. I can also do a "spot-on" British dialect, and was hired by Conoco to read an industrial for their British investors. Crikey, I do Aussie too! Would you like me to cowboy-up, pardner? Or become a Southern, I say, Southern Gentleman, y'all? Of course the Ted Baxter-like buffoon announcer is available, but I AM NOT A DJ:)

My Voice Experience

Since I began my voiceover career in 1991 I have cultivated a crop of unique character voices, perfect for today's demanding commercial market. I have performed commercials for Remco (U.S. & Canadian markets), Merv Griffin, Delta Hotels, Promise Keepers, Banner Mattress (L.A.) Mercedes of San Diego, Semiahmoo Resort, and many more. I have also recoreded numerous industrials for Continental Airlines, Compaq Computers, Conoco Oil, Shell Oil, Aramco, Ford Motor Company, Old Navy. In addition, I also performed on-hold voice over for Muzak, L.L.C. for such companies as Hilton Hotels, Marriott, Polaris, and many more. Last year I broke new ground as the voice of Santa Claus for a nationwide call-in/call-out program for kids (The Broadcast Group), and added NASCAR track advertising including Dallas Motor Speedway and Daytona Raceway.

My Training

Studying voiceover under the skillful training of Jerry Houston, Bob Macgruder of Dallas, and Dick Orkin at the Radio Ranch in L.A., as well as animation VO taught by Pat Fraley (TV's Buzz Lightyear, Rugrats), I take my career as a voice actor seriously.

In my spare time I work as Creative Services Director for Salem Communications, Inc. in Dallas, Texas. By writing and producing commercials and developing ad campaigns both national and local, including syndicated programming, I have a perspective that many in the voice over industry never get.
